Biography
Born in Florence in 1989, he is graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence, where he studied under Adriano Bimbi.
In 2015, he was awarded the Enegan Prize, an important recognition early in his career.
His artistic practice explores the relationship between nature, society, and technology, combining traditional oil painting with digital processes mediated by the smartphone, conceived as an extension of human perception. Natural landscapes become sites of transformation, where digital interventions question reality and generate a space suspended between the physical and the virtual.
Currently living and working in Shanghai. He has developed an exhibition path, with solo exhibitions in China and Italy, including the solo show “The Falling of blossom, the trail of fireflies” curated by Wang Yaoli at Bonian Space, 798 Beijing, "L'insieme complementare" curated by Filippo Bigagli at BBS Space inPrato (Italy) and "Reality in illusory, Stefano Galli and Laure Prouvoust works" in Shanghai. His work has been shown in numerous group exhibitions and international art fairs across Asia and Europe, including Art Central Hong Kong, Art Shenzhen, Beijing Contemporary Art Expo, One Art Taipei, Affordable Art Fair Shanghai, and exhibitions in Italy, France, Japan, Iran, and Thailand. Through a hybrid visual language, his work reflects on contemporary image-making and the evolving role of painting in the digital age.
